Before you get started
Is a deck button a chat command?
No. Deck buttons are actions you press. Chat commands respond to messages, while timers send recurring messages according to their settings.
Does saving a button trigger its action?
No. Saving changes the button configuration. Pressing and confirming the button is the separate step that runs it.
Can a button make changes when I am offline?
Yes. A button can make real changes even when the stream is offline. Review its steps and destination before confirming a press.
