Where to configure this
Open Community, Messages, on the Welcome and join roles tab. Choose your server at the top, and use the switch to turn it on or off.
Welcome system

Welcome messages
Automatically send a message when a new member joins your server. Write your own text or use the embed builder for a richer announcement. Use {user}, {server}, and {memberCount} placeholders to personalise each message.
Leave messages
Send a farewell message when a member leaves. Customise the text or embed with {user} and {server} placeholders, and choose a dedicated channel for leave announcements.
Auto roles
Automatically assign a default role to every new member the moment they join. This is ideal for granting access to public channels or marking new arrivals.
Rich embeds
Switch between plain text and fully customisable embeds for both welcome and leave messages. Set colours, titles, descriptions, images, and footers using the embed builder.
Dedicated channels
Choose separate channels for welcome and leave messages so announcements go exactly where you want them without cluttering general chat.

Configuration
All welcome settings are managed from the Welcome tab of the Discord bot.
Welcome channel
Select the Discord channel where welcome messages are posted when a new member joins your server.
Leave channel
Select the Discord channel where leave messages are posted when a member departs. This can be the same channel as welcome or a separate one.
Welcome message
Write the message sent when someone joins. Choose between plain text or a rich embed. Use {user}, {server}, and {memberCount} as dynamic placeholders.
Leave message
Write the message sent when someone leaves. Choose between plain text or a rich embed. Use {user} and {server} as dynamic placeholders.
Auto role
Select a Discord role to assign automatically to every new member when they join. Leave empty to skip automatic role assignment.
Getting started
Set up welcome messages in a few simple steps.
- Enable Welcome: Toggle the Welcome module on from the Welcome tab of the Discord bot.
- Choose Channels: Select a welcome channel and optionally a separate leave channel for announcements.
- Write Your Messages: Craft your welcome and leave messages using text or the embed builder. Add placeholders for a personal touch.
- Set an Auto Role: Optionally choose a default role to assign automatically to every new member.
