Commands

Create Twitch commands in Automations with response variants, permissions, cooldowns and an explicit enabled state.

Create a Twitch command

Open Automations, select Twitch commands and choose the new automation action. Your Twitch bot service and Twitch connection must be available.

Enter the command name without !, then add the response and choose who can use it: everyone, subscriber, VIP, moderator or broadcaster. A cooldown controls how often it can run.

The new app also supports:

  • Up to three response variants, with up to 500 characters per response.
  • Up to five aliases, separated by commas.
  • Announcement mode.
  • An optional linked counter ID and increment, decrement or reset action.

Create counters in Automations, More responses. Do not invent a counter ID if you have not created the counter.

Save and enable deliberately

New commands start disabled. Use Save automation to save your work, review it, then enable it when ready. Enabled commands run through your connected Twitch bot and can post real messages. Trying a command in Twitch chat is a live check, not a private preview.

Find or change a command

Use search in Automations, then open the command to edit its response, permissions, cooldown or enabled state. Save your changes before leaving.

To remove a command, choose Delete automation and confirm. This removes the saved command; disable it instead if you may want to use it again.
